Power Nous is founded and directed by Bart Simes, a senior executive from within Australia’s energy arena, having personally worked across almost all facets of the infrastructure lifecycle and across almost every generation technology-type commercially available (renewables, thermal and storage)
Different to many executives however, Bart’s career began on the tools and in the military. This laid the foundation for deep technical and practical competencies. He later entered the private sector in middle management engineering, before earning several commercial, senior executive appointments for well-known national and multinational companies
Underpinning the advice and governance of Power Nous, are his qualifications in:

- Bachelor of Commerce (Management) with UOW
- Advance Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems and Electronics)
